This session examines different perspectives on several Web 2.0
technologies and how they might affect your efforts to support your
users. A world full of user-generated content results in opportunities
and threats for professional technical authors. Official corporate
documentation needs to cover the basics -- procedures and concepts;
user-generated content may go much deeper in some places. We'll explore
the implications of Web 2.0, Google, forums, blogs, and more and place
them into the context of all documentation efforts.
