Associate Technical Fellow, Boeing
Dennis (Denny) is an Associate Technical Fellow at The Boeing Company in St. Louis, Mo. He has been involved with the development of Boeing’s Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development since 1992. His duties have included F/A-18E/F IETM Data Coordinator and IETM author training and consulting. Denny has been with the McDonnell Douglas/The Boeing Company for 30 years working product support initiatives on numerous military programs. Denny is also heavily involved with Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) product support activities. His 8 year involvement with the International tech data specification (S1000D) has led to the collaborative effort of developing the specification involving ATA, civil aviation, AIA, U.S. DoD, and European MoD/DoDs and industry. Due to his involvement in the international specification development, Denny was presented the 2003 Office Secretary of Defense (OSD) Standardization Award. The award recognized his untiring efforts in leading the US industry efforts in the development of the S1000D specification. In May 2007, Denny’s AIA and S1000D activities were duly recognized when AIA presented Denny with the Len Ross Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding performance and achievement on behalf of AIA and the aerospace industry.
